CGEEE 2026

The two-day conference (July 18–19, 2026) at the University of Seoul concluded successfully with approximately 120 participants from over 16 countries, including Denmark, USA, UK, Croatia, Japan, Australia, China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Vietnam, Uganda, France, India, Philippines, Russia.

Day 1 featured opening remarks by Prof. Hyunook Kim, three keynote speeches, and eight invited talks covering energy systems, hydrogen, sustainability, and environmental technologies. Afternoon parallel sessions and two special sessions addressed circular economy, low-carbon energy, water treatment, catalysis, hydrogen fuels, energy storage, and bioengineering, followed by a poster session. The day closed with Best Paper and Best Presentation Awards.

Day 2 included a morning lab visit to the UOS Innovation Complex and an afternoon cultural tour to Cheonggyecheon and Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The conference fostered rich interdisciplinary exchange among international experts, with high praise for the academic quality and organization. We thank all participants and look forward to the next edition.
